Eyelash Sample Request: Before Your First Wholesale Order

Most buyers do not place a wholesale order before they have held the lashes. A sample request is the step before that, and it works best when we know exactly what to send. This page sets out what to include in your request, what a free sample actually covers, and how a sample turns into your first 100-pair order.

What to tell us in a sample request

A request moves faster when it answers a few questions before we have to ask them back. Say who you are: a salon, a distributor, or a brand building its own line. Name the collection and the specific styles you are curious about, rather than asking for a sample with nothing attached to it. Give us your destination country, since that decides how we quote shipping on the sample itself. And tell us the volume you expect to order once you have tested the product, even as a rough range, so we send a catalogue sized to where you are headed.

What a free sample actually covers

Samples on existing catalog styles are free. You cover the cost of shipping them to you, and nothing else. There is no minimum quantity attached to a sample request itself. The 100-pair, mix-and-match minimum applies once you place a wholesale order, not while you are still deciding whether to place one.

A style built from scratch for private label is a different case, since it does not exist yet to sample. The section below on private label and OEM covers how we handle that.

Choosing which styles to request

Picking blind rarely goes well. Our catalogue holds five collections: Soft Touch in Korean synthetic and human hair, 3D Luxe in multi-layer synthetic, Faux Mink in cruelty-free protein silk, Classic Human Hair, and Under Lashes for the lower lash line.

If your market already asks for a dramatic finish or a natural one, request one or two styles from the matching collection. If you do not know yet, request one style from three different collections and let a few real clients compare them before you commit pairs to any single look.

From sample to first order

Once the samples arrive, test what you actually came to test: how the band sits, how the curl holds, how the fiber feels against skin. When you are ready to order, the minimum is 100 pairs per style, and you can mix styles within one order to reach it. Production for a 100-pair order takes 5 working days, and the full terms sit on our wholesale eyelashes page.

Sampling before private label or OEM

If you want your own branding, start by sampling the closest existing style, even if the finished product will carry your own curl, length or packaging. For OEM, that sample sits close to the finished product, since only the branding changes. For private label, the sample shows the base construction we build from before your specification is developed, which still tells you plenty about the fiber you are starting with.

Before you commit to an order

A sample tells you about the product. It does not tell you whether the factory behind it is real. We offer a live video call to our production floor in Purbalingga for any buyer who wants to see where the order would be made before sending anything beyond the cost of shipping a sample.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I include when I request eyelash samples?

Tell us whether you are a salon, distributor or brand, the specific collection and styles you want to test, your destination country, and the order size you expect once you decide.

Are the eyelash samples actually free?

Yes. Samples on existing catalog styles are free, and you only pay for the shipping to your address.

Is there a minimum order to request a sample?

No. The 100-pair, mix-and-match minimum applies to a wholesale order, not to a sample request, so you can test the product before committing to that quantity.

How many styles can I request a sample of at once?

You can request samples from more than one collection at a time, which helps if you are deciding between a natural, dramatic or cruelty-free finish.

Can I get a sample of a private label or OEM design?

You can sample the closest existing style first, since a private label design has to be developed before it exists to sample, while an OEM sample sits close to the finished branded product.

How do I verify MCI Eyelashes before ordering?

Ask for a live video call to our production floor in Purbalingga, which we offer to any buyer before they commit beyond the cost of sample shipping.
